When Will Kingvention 2024 Take Place?

Kingvention 2024 will be taking place in Los Angeles on Saturday 12th October 2024.

Is Kingvention Suitable For Children?

Fans of all ages are welcome to attend. Persons under 16 must be accompanied by a full-paying adult.

Can Kingvention accommodate those with a disability?

The venue has been chosen as it can accommodate attendees of all abilities. A limited amount of wheelchair space is available in the theatre, which can be purchased on a first-come- first-served basis. As with all events, once this space is occupied, we’re unable to provide additional space.

Will I Get To Meet The Special Guests?

The aim of Kingvention is that you have the chance to experience everything on offer. While we hope that everyone is able to meet the special guests, we cannot guarantee it.

Can I Come In Costume or Dressed As Michael Jackson?

Yes! Kingvention is a place for you to feel as comfortable as possible. If you want to wear a fedora and glove, feel free, and if you want to go all out, go for it!

I Can’t Make The 10am Opening, Can I Come Later?

You are welcome to attend at any time that suits. However, if your ticket includes allocated sessions such as photo ops or meet & Greet, these cannot be rearranged if you miss them.

I’m an impersonator and would like to perform

We do not feature impersonators in a performance capacity.

I would like to be an exhibitor at Kingvention, what’s the process?

Kingvention provides you direct access to the right people who will love what you do. We aim to have a good mix of exhibitors and so cannot offer spaces to everybody who may like one. If you’d like to exhibit at Kingvention 2024, please contact the team for an application form. 

What Ticket Options Are Available?

All ticket options and inclusions for the ultimate MJ experience can be found on the homepage of our website. The prices remain the same for persons of all ages. 

Can I cancel my ticket(s) and get a refund?

As with all concerts, theatres, shows and other events of its kind, we do not offer refunds on tickets. If you’re no longer able to attend, you’re welcome to sell the tickets on.

Can I upgrade my ticket?

If there are options available, you’re welcome to upgrade your ticket and can discuss with a member of the team by dropping us an email.

Is Kingvention supported or run by the Michael Jackson Estate?

No, Kingvention is a fan convention, run by fans out of pure adoration for Michael Jackson and is in no way affiliated to the Michael Jackson Estate. The Estate are aware of the event but have no connection to it.

I will be in Los Angeles for a few days, what can I do when I am not at Kingvention?

There is so much to do in Los Angeles from unique dining experiences and stunning public places to MJ hot spots.

What Are The Seating Arrangements For Saturday?

You’ll be free to sit anywhere you choose, excluding the first row which are allocated to VIP ticket holders.

Can I interview the Special Guests For My Channel / Magazine / Podcast etc?

All special guests are personally invited guests of Kingvention with the purpose of participating in the event through pre-agreed arrangements. As such this type of request is not permitted throughout the duration of their visit unless agreed with event organisers in writing.

If I see a vacant seat at Kingvention, can I sit in it?

As with all events of this kind, the seat allocation on your ticket is yours to sit in. You are not permitted to move or change seats unless you have pre-agreed to do so.

Why did you choose the October 12, 2024?

For our first US event, we selected the best date possible for the venue and our VIP guests’ availabilities. We want all the fans to have access to the event and due to professional obligations for the majority of the fans and guests, a Saturday is always the best option, as Sunday’s are not suitable. Kingvention is a full day experience with over 14hrs of pure Michael Jackson, so we do need a full day.

We know that other MJ events are taking place in October in Los Angeles and as event creators, we always think that each have their own merit and it will be unfair to latch on to one already in place.
